Hello to all of our amazing Sigma Kappa women, alumni, family, and friends!
As you all are well aware, we are in the midst of a global pandemic. TCU has officially announced a plan for the Fall 2020 school semester, stating that - as of now - school will be in session beginning August 17th. However, it is known to all students that there will be changes across campus to ensure safety and to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
That being said, we still will be having Belt Buckle Ball ... it just may not be the same as years' past! While we LOVE this event, we understand that we must do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and comply by the recommendations of both the state and country.
So what does this mean for Belt Buckle Ball?
We do not know what life will look like come our planned date for Belt Buckle Ball, September 11th, 2020. As of now, we are moving forward cautiously with the planning of the event, and hope to be able to enjoy the night as it has been for over a decade. However, the safety of our women, their family and friends, alumni, and all other attendees of this event, there is a possibility Belt Buckle Ball 2020 will be a virtual event.
We do not know how this will look, but we are doing our best to plan a fun and memorable event ... no matter how it is held! We thank you for your patience and understanding, and we look forward to hopefully seeing everyone in the fall.
